Aperture: An opening or open space
 
Shutter: The part of a camera that opens to allow light in when a picture is taken
 
Exposure: The treating of sensitized material (as film) to controlled amounts of radiant energy
 
Depth of field::  The range of distances of the object in front of an image-forming device measured along the axis of the device throughout which the image has acceptable sharpness
 
F-stop: camera lens aperture setting indicated by an f-number
 
Focal length: The distance of a focus from the surface of a lens or curved mirror
